Sealed bids for "MORTON CUSD 709 BUSINESS UNIT OFFICE RENOVATION" will be received by the Board of Education, Morton Community Unit School District 709, hereinafter known as the Owner, until 2:00 PM prevailing time on Wednesday, August 9th, 2023, at the Morton Education and Administration Center, 1050 S. 4th Avenue, Morton, IL 61550 at which time Bids will be publicly opened, read aloud, and recorded.

The scope of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and generally consists of a small renovation
of an office suite that has selective demolition, drywall partition erection, floor finishes, painting, replace
existing air handler and condensing unit, duct work in attic space, and minor plumbing work.
It is anticipated the Morton CUSD 709 Board of Education will award the Project after subsequent board
meetings following the bid opening. The Architect will issue a Notice to Proceed with the Project.
This project is TAX EXEMPT.
