The scope of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and generally consists of several miscellaneous maintenance projects at various schools including: Roof Replacement/Recovery at two schools, renovation of the High School East gym that consists of athletic wood floors, painting, bleachers, athletic equipment, lighting replacement, and door replacement, and misc. renovations at three grade schools consisting of athletic wood floors, door replacements, single room renovation, and toilet room renovation.

Sealed bids for "MORTON CUSD 709 2025 MAINTENANCE & H.S. EAST GYM RENOVATION" will be received by the Board of Education, Morton Community Unit School District 709, hereinafter known as the Owner, until ~~2:00 PM~~ 3:00PM prevailing time on Thursday, March 13th, 2025 at the Morton Education and Administration Center, 1050 S. 4th Avenue, Morton, IL 61550 at which time Bids will be publicly opened, read aloud, and recorded.

Pre-bid Conference/Tour: A “Pre-Bid” Meeting and guided jobsite tour is scheduled to begin Wednesday, March 5th, 2025, at 2:00PM prevailing time, at the High School Bertha Frank Auditorium at , Morton, IL 61550. The Architect and the Owner will not respond to questions orally regarding the Project outside of the Pre-Bid Meeting. All requests for clarifications or interpretations outside of the Pre-Bid Meeting shall be made in writing and will be answered by Addendum when appropriate.
